What is an AUD?

Latest Updated:03/25/2009

Question:

What is an AUD?

Answer:

The AUD (Advanced User Debugger) is a function used by an emulator.
The AUD has the following modes:
Branch trace mode: when the PC branches in the user program, the branch destination address is output.
RAM monitor mode: the module connected to the internal/external bus of the LSI is read/written.
The large-capacity real-time trace and RAM monitoring are possible with the emulator that uses the AUD functions.
Please refer to the manual of each emulator product due to the different emulator features between each product.
