Should the data written in ID code stored addresses be erased in QzROM?

Question:

(ROM)  Regarding switching from the Flash Memory version of the 7542 Group to the QzROM version of the 7546 or 7547 Group: Since the ID code check function is used in the flash memory version, ID and other data are written into the ID code stored addresses and ROM code protect (addresses FFD4 to FFDBh). Should these data be deleted in the QzROM version ? [2006/09/29]

Answer:

In the QzROM version, addresses FFD4 to FFDBh are assigned to the function set ROM area. Please refer to the datasheet for changing the function set ROM area to the appropriate settings. (#106427)
