In what kind of state will the CAN receive interface if the frame is sent?

Question:

In which timing will the overload frame be sent? (What kind of state is the CAN receiver interface in when this frame is sent?)

Answer:

(1) Overload frame transmit timing of the transmit node side:
When the MCU detects the dominant bit during the transmit node intermission, the MCU will transmit the overload frame at the next bit.
(2) Overload frame transmit timing of the receive node side:
When the receive node has not completed receiving the end frame (detecting the dominant bit at the last bit of the end-of-frame), the MCU will transmit the overload frame at the first bit of the intermission.
When the dominant bit is detected at the first and second bits in the intermission, the overload frame is transmitted from the next bit. (When the dominant bit is detected at the third bit in the intermission, the MCU recognizes this bit as SOF and starts receiving frames at the next bit.)
